PCI-PAL PLC (AIM: PCIP), the customer engagement specialist that secures and protects payment card data for companies handling payments by phone, is pleased to announce a contract win for an initial three year period with a minimum total value of $850,000, of which there is an annual recurring licence fee element of $220,000. The contract, secured via a US reseller, is with a global home appliances manufacturer.
Due to its Amazon Web Services ("AWS") technology, PCI Pal was able to secure the contract for both the customer's North American and European operations, with the capability to ensure data sovereignty of the customer's data to the region within which it is handled, and without any local hardware installation.
Commenting on the contract, William Catchpole, Chief Executive Officer of PCI Pal, said:
"The ultimate client and the way this contract has been secured validates both our decision to develop the AWS enabled technology and our preference for selling principally through a reseller network. PCI Pal can deliver services to multi-national clients, securing their customers' data regionally, and delivered entirely from the cloud."
